IRTS Multicultural Career Workshop Thursday, 11/29 – Friday, 11/30 – NYC (Application Due Monday, 10/15)

Now in its 34rd year, the IRTS Multicultural Career Workshop is a two-day conference where attendees will learn about opportunities in digital media, creative production, advertising, research, sales and marketing, while attending a full day of seminars during the Workshop’s first day. On day two, students will then have the chance to meet with human resource professionals from major media companies. Accomplished students from all majors are encouraged to apply.

Participants attend Workshop events free-of-charge.

Digital Media, Marketing, and Advertising workshop!

Jamie Crepps ‘10 will speak to her experience working on the business side of Google (spoiler: you don’t need to be an engineer to work at Google!) in a variety of sales, marketing and global strategy roles. She will share more about what her day to day looks like, how liberal arts prepared her to be successful in the technology field as a non-engineer, what skillsets she looks for when hiring candidates, tips on how to get started in the field, and how to prepare for an interview.
