Sports and Entertainment Career Fair – Thursday, 4/11

The seventh annual Sports & Entertainment Career Fair will be held on Thursday, April 11th. This great networking event offers career opportunities for eager professionals and current college students looking to break into the Sports & Entertainment industry. The registration fee includes admission to the career fair as well as a ticket to the Red Sox vs Blue Jays game that evening. Dress code is business professional.

IRTS Multicultural Career Workshop Thursday, 11/29 – Friday, 11/30 – NYC (Application Due Monday, 10/15)

Now in its 34rd year, the IRTS Multicultural Career Workshop is a two-day conference where attendees will learn about opportunities in digital media, creative production, advertising, research, sales and marketing, while attending a full day of seminars during the Workshop’s first day. On day two, students will then have the chance to meet with human resource professionals from major media companies. Accomplished students from all majors are encouraged to apply.

Participants attend Workshop events free-of-charge.

Digital Media, Marketing, and Advertising workshop!

Jamie Crepps ‘10 will speak to her experience working on the business side of Google (spoiler: you don’t need to be an engineer to work at Google!) in a variety of sales, marketing and global strategy roles. She will share more about what her day to day looks like, how liberal arts prepared her to be successful in the technology field as a non-engineer, what skillsets she looks for when hiring candidates, tips on how to get started in the field, and how to prepare for an interview.
