Former NExpress members have agreed to keep working together to provide expedited Interlibrary Loan services with the start of the Phoenix Rapid Returnables Pod. All requests will be processed through ILLiad, but requests for materials owned and available at any of the Phoenix Pod members will be ordered automatically, delivered by UPS, and loaned for an extended period of two months (with a renewal of another month).
Submit requests in ILLiad with an ISSN or OCLC Accession number to take advantage of Rapid’s automated ordering.
The ILLiad web pages will be down from 9:00 am today while we upgrade the ILLiad software to v8.7. The ILL web site will be inaccessible for only a short time, assuming all goes well with the update. A Middlebury students in the early evening of Sept. 23rd submitted the 400,000th request in ILLiad (TN:400000). We ordered the request using RapidILL, and the request was filled and available to the patron by early this morning, 9/24! Congratulation to everyone involved.
