Young Leaders Diversity Program

Moelis & Company is pleased to announce our Third Annual Young Leaders Diversity Program. This hands-on and immersive program gives sophomores an opportunity to spend the day learning about investment banking from Moelis & Company’s industry-leading bankers and a chance to network with their peers. Through case studies and discussions, students will gain early exposure to senior bankers and understand how Moelis & Company’s unique, innovative, and collaborative culture has made it one of the fastest growing firms on Wall Street.

Application Details
Interested students should apply on the Moelis & Company Career Site by Friday, February 1st. Applicants must currently be enrolled as an undergraduate, Class of 2021 and be available on March 14th & 15th.  The application is open to candidates interested in any of our US offices.

  • Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should be undergraduate women graduating between December 2020 and June 2022.

Undergraduate Camp | February 20-22 | New York, Salt Lake City and Dallas/Irving

  • Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should be black, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, and/or first-generations undergraduate students graduating between December 2020 and June 2022.  *At Goldman Sachs, you are considered a first-generation college student if none of your parents or guardians completed a post-secondary, 4-year degree program in the US, or an equivalent degree elsewhere.

Pride Summit | March 13-15 | New York

  • Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should be undergraduate students graduating between December 2020 and June 2022 who self-identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgender.

Engineering Essentials | May 13-17 | New York

  • Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should be black, Hispanic/Latino, Native American and/or women undergraduate students graduating between December 2020 and August 2021.

Virtual Insight Series | 2019 Summer | Virtual

  • Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should be undergraduate students graduating between December 2020 and June 2022.

How to Apply:

  1. Visit our events portal at www.goldmansachs.com/careers/events and search “diversity events” to apply.
  2. Choose a program and submit your application — you can apply for as many as you’re eligible for, but may only be selected to attend one in-person program.
  3. Once you’ve applied, you will receive an email asking you to complete the Inbox Task. Please click the “provide additional data” tab to find the form.
  4. Complete a video interview via the HireVue platform. You will receive an invitation from Hirevue on the Monday after you apply.

Invitation to Talks by Rob Redmond, Executive Vice Chairman of Macquarie Capital and Chief Executive of Macquarie Capital USA

On Monday Oct 8th and Wednesday October 10th Rob Redmond, Executive Vice Chairman of Macquarie Capital and Chief Executive of Macquarie Capital USA, will be giving two informal lectures in the Business and Enterprise Program. The Monday lecture is entitled “Does a career in finance make sense? Some lifelong lessons” and the Wednesday lecture is entitled “The Financial Crisis 10 Years After” While the lectures are formally part of the Business and Enterprise classes, any student interested in finance is welcome to attend. Rob will also be having lunch and dinner with students on Tuesday and Wednesday, and there may be a few spots left. If you are interested in attending a lunch or dinner, please e-mail Dave Colander to see if there are any spots left.

Background Information on Rob Redmond

Rob Redmond is currently Executive Vice Chairman of Macquarie Capital and Chief Executive of Macquarie Capital USA. Before moving to Macquarie Mr. Redmond was a Managing Director of Lehman Brothers, where he served as Chairman of Global Financial Sponsor Group. He is also currently an Independent Director of Terrapin 3 Acquisition Corporation. Mr. Redmond holds a BA in Economics from Lafayette College and received his MBA degree from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.
