We are now carrying two lines of fun, vibrant nail polishes here at the bookstore. Choose from an array of “POPtastic” polishes in bright summery shades or try one of the many “Ruby Wing” color changing nail polishes. Many color-changing nail polishes do not live up to their name, but our employee JoEllen tried the silver sparkle to purple shimmer and it dramatically changed from her walk indoors to outdoors- so we know these work great! Many students forget- or are just too lazy- to back up their work. When they come in with failed hard drives or computers in need of repair, they have no way to access their files. We wanted to remind students how to put the Middfiles shortcut in the dock. This makes for a fast and easy way to save works-in-progress or valuable files in case of future computer emergencies.
1. Click on the link below to connect to the server.

2.Type smb://middfiles.middlebury.edu/middfiles into the server address box.
3. When the Middfiles folder is up and you can see the title as Middfiles on the Middfiles folder
4. Drag the icon next to that title to your dock next to (but not in) the trash icon in your dock.
Now you are ready take on the task of backing up starting with just a click on the icon in your dock!
SPRING 2013 RETURN OF UNSOLD TEXTBOOKS
The College Book Store needs to begin the process of returning unsold textbooks to suppliers. Students and faculty should purchase or rent any books they need for the remainder of the Spring 2013 term before the books become unavailable.
If circumstances compel anyone to delay a purchase or rental further, they should let the Book Store staff know so we can attempt to accommodate their needs.
During the week March 18 – 22 the Book Store will be returning all unsold used textbooks.
The following week, March 25 – 29 (Spring Break ) we will begin to return new textbooks for classes which use only one main text.
Shortly after Spring Break we will start returning all remaining new textbooks.
Many students make quite a few purchases at the bookstore and they accumulate many panthers points that they never use! Panther points are our benefit reward system. With each purchase you make, you acquire points that can alter be cashed in for a bookstore giftcard!
The bookstore staff wants to remind you that if you have been using panther points you may be eligible for bookstore giftcards that could be worth $20, $50- even hundreds of dollars! Log in to you account on the Middlebury COllege Bookstore website (click on login on the left hand side) to check your balance. And If you haven’t signed up yet, you can also do this online or the next time you stop by to make a purchase.

With graduation for the Febs just around the corner, we wanted to remind you of all of the deals you are eligible for as a student at Middlebury-once you graduate, you are no longer eligible!
