New Employees

In this post we’ll introduce you to two new members of the Middlebury College staff who are working in College Advancement and Athletics. Please join us as we welcome Joanna and Lauren to campus!

Joanna Tanger is the new Online Community Coordinator for College Advancement’s Alumni and Parent Programs. Joanna comes to us from Bard College’s Office of Development and Alumni/ae Affairs and is an ’07 gradaute of Bard. She has also taught English in the Czech Republic and has a nonprofit background. Joanna grew up in Vermont, and enjoys learning about other cultures, web design, art, and playing her violin and soccer.

Lauren Greer is a ’13 graduate of Middlebury and is our new Assistant Women’s Ice Hockey Coach and volunteer Field Hockey Coach. Lauren majored in Film and English, played Field Hockey and Ice Hockey and was a three time All American and National Player of the Year in Field Hockey. She lives in Weybridge and loves playing sports, hiking, reading and watching films.

Ski and Winter Sports Sale

The Middlebury College Ski Patrol will be hosting its annual “Ski and Winter Sports Sale” on Saturday, October 19th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, October 20th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the McCullough Crest room.

Shine the Light on Domestic Violence Silent Lamp Auction

On Saturday, September 28th, the Addison County Council against Domestic and Sexual Violence is hosting the 

Shine the Light on Domestic Violence Silent Lamp Auction 

at 51 Main from 7 to 10 p.m. 

Local artists have reworked gently used lamps and turned them into intriguing artifacts to grace your home. Come and join us for some free refreshments graciously provided by 51 Main and Chellis House.
