A professor’s point of view: I don’t know if everyone has to change their password by next week but it is possibly the worst time of year in terms of being busy for faculty. Two weeks later when grades are in would be much smoother I would think. Just my two cents.

More support for Vista

Update the computers!
We need the most up-to-date software on the computers.
Better use of printing computers
Stop Using Printing Computers to AIM with Your Boyfriend! They’re called printing computers for a reason.
Better wireless

We should have Microsoft Word on the walk-up computers.
More computers please!
The computer lab is a Mac dictatorship…more Dells needed! We should also have more computers in general.
please add a wysiwig editor to the wiki!
Our present wiki — MediaWiki — doesn’t have a wysiwig editor, which means that to do anything with formatting you need to use HTML or wikimarkup, neither of which are very user-friendly. Can we add a wysiwig editor to our installation?

Make ‘go’ links easier to find
- When possible, add a note with the appropriate go/ short-cut to the headers of pages with go/ links, so folks will know how to get there again.
- Create an easy to find reverse gotionary–and, possibly category directory–of go/links, with all the items that currently have go/links. Sometimes it’s difficult to figure out what the go/ link could be.
