Smoking introduces significant indoor pollution and the climate must be strictly controlled in the libraries. Additionally, federal, state, and local regulations prohibit smoking in the workplace, which the libraries are for scores of people. However, we will continue to provide the smoking areas through the two sets of doors at the main entrance.
