A number of library content providers have made significant changes to their platforms in the last several weeks, or they will early in 2017. Listed are some of the major ones, and where you can find out more.
- Cambridge University Press – Cambridge’s journals and other content (such as Cambridge Histories Online) is now on an updated platform called Cambridge Core. See their video.
- SAGE journals – SAGE Publishing has migrated their journals to a new platform. The URL for each journal has changed; old links will be re-directed to the new platform. More information here.
- Scitation, home of journals from the American Institute of Physics (such as Physics Today and the Journal of Applied Physics) has a “new look and feel.”
- Oxford journals – The migration of journals content to the new Oxford Academic platform began in November 2016, with all journals scheduled to migrate by January 2017. More information here.
