The Ship of Theseus continues on the new course for what he thinks is two days. During those days they pass through a storm and S. continues to be miserable. He carves into the wall the fishhook, no longer bothered by the fact that what he carves is not what appears.

In the margins, Jen still is struggling with her school work and papers. Her focus on VMS is distracting her and makes her question the whole purpose of school.

Jen also makes a comment that “miserable biscuit” would be a good name for an me band, which Eric quickly comments on as Terrible.
