S and Osfour are having the conversation on S’s identity. S explicitly questions the usefulnees of Osfour in his life. Osfour reminds him that he is helpful to save S’s life. Osfour just wants S to move on quicker without doing much talking. However, it seems like S just can’t avoid questioning about his identity.

However, Osfour wants S to know that the news of the bombing was kept within the city limits and mostly only spread around with whispers. So, it didn’t really damaged Vevoda’s reputation as a businessman. His factories still produce supply for war materials. So, Vevoda is still ongoing with his business.

With reference to the place where Osfour is talking about being a defensive ally for S, Eric points out his speculation that the people who are taking care of FXC are just kind people, not really an ideal resistance.

THOUGHT: THE PEOPLE TAKING CARE OF FXC ARE A SORT OF RESISTANCE-BUT NOT IDEOLOGICAL-JUST KIND.
