Select one of the readings from Classes 2-6. Critically analyze this work in no more than 1250 words. At a minimum, your analysis must demonstrate a correct understanding of the author’s claims and analytic framework. Be sure to evaluate the author’s use of evidence and the fit between the evidence used and the claims made. Is the evidence used well-suited to the author’s argument? The best essays will use their analyses of the particular piece to critically evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the analytic framework used.
