Shabbat
Friday Night services at 5:30, dinner at 6:30. Come for either or both, it’ll be great food and a lot of fun as always!
Community Supper
Havurah, the Jewish community in town, is running this week’s community supper – a restaurant style meal in town open to all residents of Addison County. It’s on Friday, and Hillel usually helps out by bringing students down to help with the setting up and serving. If you’re interested in going, we’ll be meeting at ADK circle at 4:15 on Friday to walk down together. It’s a lot of fun and Community Suppers can always use extra hands, so if you have time make sure to come by!
Havdalah
Hillel will also be holding a Havdalah service at the Jewish Center on Saturday night at 5:30pm. Havdalah is a short service (10 minutes or so) that marks the end of Shabbat and the transition into the week. It’s quick and really enjoyable, and if you’ve never been to Havdalah before we’ll explain the steps.

Hanukkah begins tonight, Wednesday Dec. 1st. We’ll be lighting a menorah together at the Jewish Center tonight (Wed.) at 5:30pm, Thursday at 5:30, Friday right before Shabbat, and Saturday also at 5:30pm. It only takes a few minutes and will be a nice break from studying, so make sure to stop by, even if you can only make it the first night!
