Filed Under (Uncategorized) by on February 14, 2014 and tagged ,

As a brief overview, the U.S. Army Medical Department provides a program called the Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP). This program provides full payment of all required tuition and fees, reimbursement of required books, expendable supplies and equipment for the duration of school (up to four years), plus a monthly living allowance of more than $2,000. This enables medical, dental, optometry and veterinary school students to attend school free of charge and receive almost $20,000 per year for personal living expenses. Consequently, this allows students the opportunity to completely focus on their studies and their ultimate goal of becoming the absolute best health care provider possible.

The Army Medical Department is one of the largest and most technologically advanced health care organizations in the world and the opportunities to pursue excellence in training and graduate medical education are unparalleled.
