Single Photo/Mise en Scene Analysis

How much can you say with a single image? This is your chance to find out. Take a photo using whatever camera you have access to (cell phones encouraged) with careful consideration of mise en scene. Embrace the qualities and limitations of your technology, be it a cell phone camera or not.

(If you don’t have access to a still photo camera, you can check one out at the circulation desk at the library).

Analyze your  photo (in a 250-500 word statement) by deploying the terminology for visual film analysis offered in the Film Experience textbook.  Share your photo and, if you want, your analysis with your moodle group and comment on each other’s work!

Due: Feb 22nd to Moodle. Click here to upload photo and analysis in Moodle.
