Assistant Film Editor Needed

Job Description: This is a Spring Internship opportunity to work on a local, feature-length documentary in a significant capacity. While our team heads to Alaska to film, we are looking for an editor to help catalogue, manage, and edit together footage.

Through this process, you will grow your filmmaking skills and gain an intimate perspective on the production of a feature film. We utilize a powerful editing workflow that is the standard in the documentary film world, and this internship is a unique opportunity to learn that system. This is a structured internship with a high degree of autonomy. As Midd alums we understand the time commitment required by a traditional semester, which is why we are interested in a student who can effectively manage his or her course load.

Timetable: This creative and highly driven individual should be able to commit to 6-8 hours a week.

More Information: To learn more about the film and its impact check out www.underdogfilm.org.

Requirements: The intern does NOT need to be a film major, but experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is necessary.
Experience with any other creative cloud apps is a plus. Applicant should be highly organized, detail oriented, and able to set and make their own deadlines during the academic semester.

Compensation: $11/hr for 6-8 hours a week.

Contact: Apply on MOJO if interested.
