• Charter House Benefit Dinner: April 24^th at 51 Main – Stop by to enjoy a great meal, music, company and, most of all, to support the Charter House at this benefit dinner. The Charter House, transitional winter housing located in downtown Middlebury, has been in operation since 2007. Over the past five years, the housing has provided over 60 individuals and families with shelter and security during the harsh winter months and has served thousands of free lunches. • Apply for the Paid Summer Orientation Trips Internship – Work with the College’s first-year orientation team to help plan and deliver MiddView (Community Engagement, Vermont Explorations, and the Wilderness) trips. The trips are an integral part of our orientation efforts, and include three day, two night off-campus opportunities to engage in some aspect of Vermont’s cultural, community or outdoor landscapes. • Academic Outreach Endowment Grants – application due April 1 – The Academic Outreach Endowment Fund provides financial support to students for pursuits that involve community-connected teaching, learning, and research. Examples of these kinds of approaches include project-based learning, service-learning, community-based learning, participatory action research, and more. • 2-3 Volunteers Sought to Help w/ PT Exercises and/or Visiting: EIA Civic Engagement seeks 2-3 volunteers to help long-time College friend, Butch Varno, augment his physical therapy on a weekly basis. Butch is a man in his 60s with cerebral palsy and is confined to a wheel chair. It makes a huge difference to his health and well-being when he receives regular exercise and social opportunities.

• March 11 & 12: Fund for Public Interest Group Info Table – The Fund for the Public Interest is a national nonprofit that builds support for progressive organizations. Join to gain knowledge of pressing concerns the country is facing and how to effectively generate public support.
• March 13: Middlebury Spring Job Fling – Seniors, not sure what to do after Middlebury? This is your chance to meet with a variety of liberal arts-friendly employers, like the Peace Corps, and Career Services staff all in one convenient place! Participating employers will be added to MOJO as they register.
