Heather Adams, SPHR
MyWebGrocer
Heather Adams is a native Vermonter. She graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in Business with a concentration in Human Resources and is SPHR certified. She has worked for 15 years in the HR profession in various industries including financial services, education and eCommerce. Heather is currently the Director of Human Resources at MyWebGrocer, Inc. and is responsible for all facets of Human Resources including recruitment and new employee on-boarding, employee relations, benefits, and career development.
Kurt Nielsen
Green Mountain Coffee Roasters
Kurt Nielsen is currently a Sr. Technical Recruiter for Green Mountain Coffee Roasters. His primary responsibility is working with the Engineering Leadership team and hiring various types of Engineers and Facilities professionals to work in the Vermont and Virginia locations. Kurt recently moved to Vermont and joined Green Mountain this past August.
Prior to GMCR, he spent the last 17 years in Atlanta working as a Manager or Director of Recruiting for PricewaterhouseCoopers, McKesson Corporation (a Fortune 20 Company), Korn/Ferry (Executive Global Search Firm) and 2 startups.
Before moving to Atlanta, Kurt was born and raised in NY, and while in NY he worked as a Parole Officer for the State of New York, a caseworker for Family Court and was the assistant women’s soccer coach at the United States Military Academy.
Julie Colangeli, PHR
Spherion Staffing
Julie Colangeli is a Senior Recruiter at Spherion Staffing and Recruiting where she’s worked since relocating to Vermont 9.5 years ago. She oversees all of Spherion’s direct hire placements as well as their professional level contract staffing and specializes in business professional and technology recruiting. Julie has her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University and obtained Professional Certification in Human Resources in 2008.
Mark Heyman
Logic Supply
Mark Heyman earned his BA in Political Science from the University of Vermont, including six months studying access to legal aid within the European Union in London, England through Boston University. Mark earned his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. He has significant labor and employment law and human resources management experience as former legal counsel to the Vermont State Employees Association for five year, owner of Cope Human Resources, Inc., an HR Consulting firm, and is now the HR Director of Logic Supply, Inc.
