
Are you considering teaching after college? Were you thinking of applying to The China Education Initiative (CEI)?
On Tuesday, November 17th, CEI is hosting a webinar which will act as an information session for potential applicants who are interested in learning more about CEI and their 2010 Teaching Fellowship Program. The information session will be held at from 9 to 10 PM EST, 6PM PST, 8 PM Central (but log on at least 5 minutes prior to the start). Space is limited so you should reserve your spot at here. After registering you will receive a confirmation email containing information about how to join the webinar. The system requirements are as such, PC-based attendees (Required: Windows® 2000, XP Home, XP Pro, 2003 Server, Vista) Macintosh®-based attendees (Required: Mac OS® X 10.4 (Tiger®) or newer)
The China Education Initiative was established in 2008 under the auspices of the Ford Foundation, Princeton University, and Tsinghua University, CEI is an innovative non-profit organization taking a unique approach to eliminating educational inequity in China by enlisting the US and China’s most promising future leaders in the effort. Through the institution of a US-China Teaching Fellows program, CEI meets the pressing need for exceptional teachers in China’s understaffed low-income rural schools, while fostering a constituency of young leaders positioned to advance the cause of educational equity and effect long-term systemic change.
