Global 1960s Final Project

Meghe Dhaka Tara, translated in English to Cloud-Capped Star, is part of a trilogy written and directed by Ritwik Ghatak in 1960. It was based on a social novel, dealing with the aftermath of the Partition of India. The narrative centers on a refugee  camp near Calcutta and centers on a Hindu family’s sufferings.
