Circulation Services – Circ, Reserves, and Stacks
Highlights: (Progress towards Goals, accomplishments)
Armstrong:
• Fairly busy
• Still getting printing questions
• Students doing a great job with shelf reading
• BNB shipment sent out
Davis Family:
• Configured new barcode scanner for Special Collections
• Equipment circulating well, people returning on time, inventory seems adequate
Browsing CD/DVD rack getting a lot of use this summer
• Students doing good work at the desk, vacuuming, dusting, weeding, etc.
• A few missing books
• More positive reviews for Web help Desk
• Kim working on keeping the info desk stocked, up to date
• All LIS staff meeting
• Circ meeting today
• Not a lot going on
Stacks:
• Shift of the H’s is done to HN. Steve is working on weeding some of those – the hope is to shift all the way to J by summer’s end.
Reserves:
• Pulling and ordering for BLWC
• Fall: completing Eres requests
• Attended liaisons meeting
CT Team: Summer updates
Challenges:
• Items for branches ending up on Davis holdshelf
People just don’t understand how to print
