Circulation Services – Circ, Reserves, and Stacks

Statistics: How far the Music Library collection would reach if lined up single file: from the Music Library to the new bridge in town
Requests sent to Mills this week: 3 (which is 3 more than the previous 6 weeks)
Percentage of par-3’s parred by Dan this weekend: 100%
Highlights: (Progress towards Goals, accomplishments)
Armstrong:
• Staff meeting to discuss schedules, projects, issues
• Equipment inventory underway
Davis Family:
• Collecting stats for annual report
• Purging mentions of the Music Library from the College websites
• Various staff vacations
• Pulled first batch of Music DVDs for re-casing
• Met to brainstorm what searching/reference tutorials are needed, especially involving music materials
Stacks:
• Re-shift of N’s – including dusting – is done
• Working on shelf-reading the Music collection
Reserves:
• Writer’s conference requests coming in, working with acq to get those
• “Leading people you don’t manage” webinar
• Fall reserves coming in
CT team: Moodle hosting plan approved by ADs – tweaking course hub
Space Team: revisiting service points issue

Challenges:
• Last minute screening requests
• BLSE books on the Davis holdshelf

  2. Thanks! CT stands for Curricular Technology. The webinar was a webinar offered to staff who elected to view it, offered by some organization or other.
