There will be some books on display in the lobby for a while. These are not to circulate. If anyone tries to check one of these out, it will give the message “Status is on display – clear it?” Say no. It will ask you if you want to check the item out anyway. Say no.

Will there be signage next to the books that states the items are to be browsed in-house and not checked out? Typically, “on display” books can circulate, so this has the potential to be confusing for both borrowers and Circ students/staff.
I added a sign to the display saying that they are not to circulate.
