I want to pass along an error we’ve been seeing everyday at Armstrong. The error occurs when students try to log into our computers. It Read’s “security log full, admistrator log in required”, or something close to that. Anyways the way to fix this is to restart the computer.

Don’t check in without a barcode!
A CD was recently returned to the Main Library without a barcode. However, the CD was then removed from the patron’s record manually. Please do not do this. If the item belongs to Middlebury, it MUST have a barcode to be checked out. Therefore, it MUST have a barcode to be checked in. In this case, the barcode is on a booklet that was not returned with the CD. But since the CD was removed from the patron record, we have no way of knowing who had it out. So PLEASE do not check in an item that does not have a barcode.
