Highlights:
• End of term activity – resolving lots of overdue, found, missing, lost, damaged issues
• Planning for intersession projects
• NExpress – following up on too long (this and that status – overdue, paged, in transit etc.) lists
• Successful 24/7 – stats/report to follow next week
• Mill Circ: Created new patron type, wrote new loan rule (The 50th loan rule!) and circulation texts for Mills
• Web requesting changes/enhancements – editing web options to fill requests with 1st available copy; testing changes
• Removing Novell from front desk computers at all branches
• Developing workflow for Mills requesting
• Borrower data base – Summer, Mills, BL, LS, guests
• BLSE – planning Davison Desk schedule
• Carrels and Lockers: over half of carrel keys back already; clean-up and prep for Summer
• Equipment: laptop cleaning already under way; received the French and German translations of the Equipment User Agreement Form for use during LS; waiting on others; added text to the Summer Training section of wiki re: equipment how-tos; created text for an “Ideal Interaction” at Circ re: the borrowing of equipment; to be used in upcoming HD/Media Lab training
• Student Employees: end of 24/7 and end of exams – looks like things went pretty well for the most part, students did a good job subbing for each other; some schedule challenges
• Armstrong: Finally finished up the last two elusive student performance evaluations; spent a lot of last week tracking and working on keeping shifts filled as we added twenty hours to the student schedule; in the end all shifts were filled and we slipped through the last week without relying on subs; summer schedule finalized for language school; ILL’s up and down all week.
• Music: So far, so good on keeping up with re-shelving at Music
• Stacks: Re-shelving, re-shelving, re-shelving; presented training on film/fiche units to HD student employees
• Reserves: Docutek ERes webinar 5/19; end of term clean-up etc.; BL and LS preparations; collected Spring Term reserve stats
• Planning for Summer student employee training
• End of term Billing
• Suggestions for edits to guest printing brochure
• Set up printing project blog
• Staff schedules – summer is here – juggling lots of vacation time
• Circ meeting – review emergency procedures – power outage
• Wiki updates – offline Circ; intersession projects
• Planning for LIS art and Crafts exhibit
• Lots of blogging!
• Self-check finally up and running again – with thanks to HD, Nate, Petar, Mike Lynch, Howie, Rick and others!

Challenges:
• HD walk-in – tardy openings during exam period
• Non-Circ student in equipment area
• Armstrong – movable stacks down
• Armstrong – student scheduling
• Main front desk computer down
• Keeping up with many equipment overdues/issues
• Heavy Reserves overdues as well
• Student schedule challenges at Main on Monday 5/18, several shifts unfilled at the last minute
• LCD projector switcheroo: involving projectors from Main and Arm, placed in the wrong bags and returned to Main
• Color printer not working on Friday night, much to the dismay of stressed students needing to print
• Main Library hours 1st 9 – 5 day – CTLR function in Lib 4:30 – 5:30 – people arriving after 5; HD student staff arriving at 8:30 for training before doors opened/Circ staff here, Digital media tutors still working on projects after closing etc…
