Highlights: (Progress towards Goals, accomplishments)
• Main – Maura on vacation; Janine holding down the fort in the mornings
• Stacks – Re-shelving flood of returns
• Equipment – Juggling, returns, bookings
• Armstrong – Student projects: inventory of Vermont Archives maps; some new maps were mistakenly placed in this collection – good opportunity for an inventory; shelf-reading stacks and bound periodicals.
• Student schedules – rough draft of fall schedules have been sent out to the circulation students for review; editing and updating Outlook for Fall 08
• End of term for BL – lots of Davison returns!
• LS – busy with end of term approaching
• Music – Dan on vacation
• Wiki and blog workshop; wiki development
• Scheduling 6-month review meetings
Challenges:
• No trespass issue
• BLSE evacuation due to closing of Rt 125
• Still lots of claims returned…
• Borrower data base errors
• Film screening not on the schedule
• BL – media items from BL borrowers extremely overdue
• Self- check – Innovative still trying to resolve software issue
• Printer breakdowns
• Ariel still down – requiring workaround for ILL processing at Arm
• Increase in materials coming from CM projects – colliding with end of term peak returns/re-shelving activity
