Hey Students,

Welcome to CCI Connect! Check out the newest internships, jobs, and CCI events postings and get started! As you browse the entries, clicking on the internship or job titles will bring you straight to the MOJO posting (you will need to sign in the first time); in many places, we’ve also provided a link to the organization. If you need help or want to talk through ideas and options, come to drop-ins hours at the Center for Careers & Internships (CCI) in Adirondack House every Monday-Friday from 2-5 p.m. No appointment necessary for drop-in hours!

What’s New in INTERNSHIPS:

  • Interested in socially responsible investing?  Apply to be the summer Research Associate for EcoEnterprises Fund, which works to impact investing, support small businesses in the Americas, and bring sustainable economic/social benefits to local communities while preserving critical natural resource ecosystems.(Deadline: 5/15)
  • There may be some late-breaking internships that did not get into this week’s CCI Connect so be sure to check them out! Search in MOJO for internships by “date posted.”

What’s New in JOBS:

  • The Center for Careers & Internships is seeking Peer Career Advisers to work in our office next year!  This is great student job, where you’ll be trained, given lots of responsibility advising students and presenting workshops, and you’ll be gaining excellent experience for your own resume.  Apply now! (Deadline: 4/27)
  • If you are an activist and want to put your values to work in life-after-Midd, then apply to be an Assistant Canvass Director for Grassroots Campaigns, Inc to run field campaigns on behalf of issue based organizations like Oxfam America, ACLU and The Nature Conservancy. (Deadline: 6/1)

  • This 21 month position at Middlebury as the Sustainability Communication/Outreach Coordinator for the Franklin Environmental Center will have you involved in everything from communications to assessment to culture shifting. Apply now! (Deadline: 4/23)
  • As a U.S.PIRG Fellow with US Public Interest Research Group (US PIRG), you will receive the training you need to be public interest advocates and organizers. You will recruit and train activists, research problems, find practical solutions, demonstrate public support through media events, and lobby decision makers. (Deadline: 4/26)
