INROADS is a great internship program for first year, sophomore, and junior students who consider themselves under-represented– first-gen, low-income/high financial need, racial/ethnic minorities– anyone without a “network.” There are 1,200 INROADS internships available to students nationally, typically in large metropolitan areas across the United States. Internships are typically with major companies. Students from ANY major are welcome to apply, and internships include a variety of functional roles in business and STEM settings. Students must have a 3.0 GPA or higher in order to apply for the program.
