Coach Wendell “Wendy” Forbes was one of the most legendary personas of Middlebury Athletics. As a student, Forbes received twelve varsity letters, playing football, hockey, and baseball all four years. The love for his Alma Mater brought him back to coach for 22 years, but not before moving around the St. Louis Cardinals organization for six years. When he did return to campus, Forbes coached the hockey and baseball teams, and for a limited time, golf.
