Thursday Craft Time Schedule

5:00-7:30 EVERY THURSDAY
Each week we will have a scheduled craft.  Remember how much fun art time was back in elementary school?  Well Thursday craft time is like that!  No need to be “artistic”….just come and have some fun doing the craft of the week.

  • We also have supplies from previous crafts out so if you miss a craft you wanted to do, don’t worry – you can still come and do it on any craft Thursday!

10/11/12: Peace Flag & Paper Crane Making

  • We will have beautiful papers and supplies to make your own peace flags for your room in anticipation of the Dali Lama’s visit.
  • Instructions on how to make paper cranes will also be given so that students can have your own reminder to stay hopeful (something the Dali Lama’s talk with be addressing)

10/18/12: Bottle Cap Magnets

  • We have enough bottle caps for people to make a few magnets, but bring more bottle caps if you want to make a lot.
  • This fun and easy project will let you recycle those bottle caps of yours in a colorful and fun way- use them to put on your white board, or to give to a friend!

10/24/12: Halloween Crafts

  • Get ready for the upcoming spooky holiday!
  • Make a paper pumpkin, balloon jack-o-lanterns, pumpkin portraits, or hanging ghosts
