It’s hard to believe, but summer is nearly over and Labor Day is right around the corner! As you complete your timesheet for the pay period that includes September 3rd, please keep in mind that Labor Day (like Memorial Day and Independence Day) is considered a Floating Holiday here at Middlebury. That means that some offices will remain open and others may close. Subject to the staffing needs of individual departments, a staff member may or may not be required to work on Labor Day. Benefits-eligible staff who do not work on Labor Day must report their regularly scheduled hours as CTO. Staff who do work will report their worked hours normally. (Prior approval must be obtained for employees to work if their office is closed.)
