A team of Middlebury Institute MBA students will be travelling to the World Economic Forum in Davos in January 2017 as finalists in the Corporate Knights Business for a Better World case competition. The team — Ben Grimmig, Nick Fisher, Christina Lukeman, and Shannon Nolan, coached by professors Yuwei Shi and Sandra Dow — faced heavy competition to land one of the three finalist slots to present in Davos. Their task was to construct an equity portfolio that replied to the UN Sustainable Development Goals while delivering strong investor returns.
