What have been the shaping influences on today’s college students?  In his presentation, “Harry Potter and the Millennials: Media Effects, Research Methods, and the Politics of a Muggle Generation,” Professor Jack Gierzynski of the University of Vermont will explore the impact of the Harry Potter books and films on young people in this special edition of the Academic Roundtable.

Wednesday, January 29th at 4:30 in the Orchard (Room 103), The Franklin Environmental Center at Hillcrest.

Professor Gierzynski teaches in UVM’s Political Science Department and is the director of internships for the Political Science department.  He is the co-author of “Harry Potter and the Millennials” (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2013).
