The Center for Social Entrepreneurship will host their third annual symposium on Thursday and Friday, January 23-24, 2014. The symposium, titled “Social Entrepreneurship and the Future of Education”, will feature keynote addresses by Shabana Basij-Rasikh ’11 and David Bornstein. Basij-Rasikh is the cofounder and president of SOLA, School of Leadership Afghanistan. Bornstein is a journalist and author of the New York Times column “Fixes” and cofounder of Solutions Journalism Network. The symposium will also feature a variety of engaging workshops and an interactive Google+ Hangout with international innovators in education.
