This talk, part of the interdepartmental faculty and alumni lecture series “Language Works,” will demonstrate the use of new technologies to implement a model for foreign language teaching and learning that is based on solid second-language acquisition principles. Prof. Martínez-Lage will explain those principles and show samples of a Spanish 1 High School course (in development for MIL, Middlebury Interactive Languages) to illustrate each principle.
