Dear iPad owners,

We will be holding the second meeting of interested iPad users next Monday, November 22nd from 12:15 – 1:30 in Library classroom 105.  Because of the increasing number of personally owned iPads and the need for training, Mack Roark of LIS’s User Services group and general iPad maven will be offering training on the basics of using an iPad. Topics that Mack will be covering include: connecting your iPad to your computer for the first time, why you want an iTunes account and how to set one up, and configuring the iPad to work with your Exchange email/contacts/calendars. Mack is willing to offer more target training  at future meetings so we’ll spend some time trying to identify topics for future meetings.

Mack’s training session will last about 45 minutes. We will spend the rest of the time discussing useful iPad applications and any other topics you would like to raise.  Please send an RSVP to sax@middlebury.edu  if you plan to attend. Thanks,

Louisa Burnham, History
Mack Roark, LIS
Shel Sax, CTLR
