9/20 — Topic Statement
On Tuesday, you must submit a statement of your research topic. Your topic statement should consist of a title and a paragraph explaining the topic. Ideally, your paragraph will contain at least one question that you hope to answer with your essay or thesis. You should also include a list of three secondary and three primary sources that you will use in your research. In listing your sources, please use Chicago Manual of Style or MLA citation format.
Please submit your topic statement on paper and bring to class.
